A Parent's Guide to Trinity   

We are delighted that you are a part of the Trinity family and wish you a very successful year. We have prepared this guide as a quick reference tool to help you navigate your way through the numerous traditions, activities and events that Trinity has to offer. Additional information about most of these activities may be found in the Student Handbook and will be shared with you throughout the year.

A

ABSENCES 
If your child is ill and unable to attend school, please call the ABSENTEE LINE: (443) 498-5099 and leave the following information:

  • Child's name
  • Child's homeroom
  • Nature of illness
  • Where to send homework: with another student or in the homework bin*

*The homework bin is located in the Middle School inside the side entrance.

ADMISSIONS OPEN HOUSE 
This is a time for prospective parents to learn more about Trinity School. Current families are encouraged to invite family and friends to attend an open house and consider Trinity School.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
There are two Back to School Nights held in September one for the Primary School and one for the Middle School. Teachers present important information about the school year at these meetings. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend Back to School Night.

BASKETBALL
The Trinity Athletic Committee (TAC) oversees the basketball program. Parent volunteers coach the basketball teams and run the basketball clinic for 1st grade. For grades 2 through 8 there is a boys' and a girls' team for each grade. The Trinity teams play against other schools in several leagues. Each team practices once a week in the school gym.

CALENDAR
The School Calendar is delivered the first week of school. There is also a link to the school calendar on the front page of the school web site.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK
Catholic Schools Week is a celebration of Catholic Schools sponsored by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. It is a time to appreciate all of the Trinity Family: students, parents, teachers, and staff. It takes place the last week in January. Activities include: Mass, Talent Show, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Student Appreciation Day, and Parent Appreciation Day.
